Ne verjamem, da gre za nacionalno foušijo, mogoče za delček fuk foušije. Itak vsi vemo, komu zavidamo. Drgače pa, fantje so ga odlično žgal, kljub masaker grebenu. Kapo dol. No idea who will win, but it's sure as hell not me! I was flying the Aravis yesterday when 3 of the competitors(pretty sure here) came at me from L'Etale. No idea who they were -2 Mac Paras and an Icepeak by the look of things- all with profiled harnesses. I was getting pleasantly jacked around in what I felt was a rather sloppy thermal. In fact it was just that I'm crap. They showed up next to me, rolled it up cleanly to about 2800 and did the Aravis(about 10km for those of you who aren't familiar) in less then 20 minutes! I tried to follow just to see how they went, but as it was fairly bouncy I didn't dare jump on the bar. By the time they were at the far end(Point Percée) I was half the distance. They turned toward the west and Grand Bornand so I tried to cut them off at the pass as I was high enough at that point. By the time I showed up at 2000m they were already at 2600 or thereabouts, and getting ready to leave. So I toplanded, drank a beer and contemplated. For those of you wwho haven't had the experience of flying next to or around these guys let me just say it's a humiliating reality check to have your ass handed to you in your own backyard.
